Paso Robles CA senior Damian Gavilan finished second in the Division 1 boys final at the Central Section Championships, covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:19.62 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Gavilan, who was also runner-up last season in 15:27.26, helped the Bearcats place sixth overall with 155 points.
